Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bagels Bites filled with Cream Cheese. The easiest, most delicious and fastest way to enjoy a bagel!
Happy Monday Morning! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Besides the fact that the Packers lost their game last night (sniff), we had a wonderful time. The weather has been absolutely beautiful and even somewhat warm the last couple of days. Mid 30’s, lots of sunshine and blue skies seem to bring out lots of smiles. We take anything we can get this time of year and soak up as much of the “warm” breeze as possible, ha.
But I still managed to make some time in the kitchen. For an idea I’ve had swirling around my head for what seems like forever now.
As if bagel bites stuffed with cream cheese weren’t enough, I decided to add Cinnamon Toast Crunch (aka my favorite childhood cereal) to the mix. Literally. Cereal makes up part of the bagel dough, which you can taste with every bite. If that’s not a dream come true, then I don’t know what is.
Homemade Mac & Cheese that will leave you feeling oh so good. Both because it tastes absolutely amazing, but also because it has a healthy twist that no one would ever suspect!
Whoa! Yes, we’re doing it. One of my goals for 2015 was to share more savory recipes with you. Don’t ya worry, Deliciously Yum will continue to mainly revolve around all things sweet, but occasionally I will start to share some of our favorite main meals, side dishes and appetizers with you as well. Hope that’s alright with you :).
Because things like today’s Mac & Cheese version NEED to be shared with all of you. My conscience can’t continue to keep these things from you…
We take our Mac & Cheese very seriously. I usually don’t like for anyone to mess with my bowl of cheesy goodness. No fancy ingredients, swaps or substitutions necessary. Thank you very much. Or so I thought.
The Mac & Cheese you see here has one very special ingredient and a few healthier substitutions. Yeah, I was suspicious too. But you know me by now. I wouldn’t share anything I don’t absolutely love.
Fudge Brownies meet Peanut Butter Bars. One of the best dessert mash-ups to date.
Hi Everyone! Fair warning: If you’re on a diet you might want to avert your eyes right this second. Especially if you’re having a weakness for chocolate, brownies, or peanut butter. Everyone else, come a little closer. See those layers of brownies, the inside of a peanut butter cup and some swirled chocolate? Good. Because they’re eyeing you as well. Begging to be made ASAP :). I’m speaking from experience, guys. These bars have me wrapped around their tiny cuter-than-life pb cups. Very tightly.
It all happened on a very exciting Sunday afternoon. Let’s just say a certain professional football team happened to beat the Cowboys and we celebrated like real fans should. Victory tastes so much better when one has something fabulous to snack dive into.
Needless to say, I am ready for another Sunday to roll around. But while I wait, let me fill you in on the recipe deets. Because no matter who you’re rooting for (even if no one strikes your fancy), we can all unite when it comes to dessert. Oh – the power of food. Continue reading →
Beautiful and super yummy Strawberry Twists. Perfect for a special breakfast or brunch treat!
And so it continues. My breakfast obsession cannot be stopped, you guys – I hope you don’t mind ;). Since we’re in the middle of winter, I’ve been craving some color and fruit in my life. The grocery stores are filled with the most amazing citrus fruits right now, which is seriously holding me over until we have a bigger selection of fresh fruits and veggies around once again. As for now, I am totally relying on the produce I froze over the summer, knowing that I would be beyond happy I took the time to stock my freezer once the cold days set in. And am I ever.
Strawberries were begging to be used over the weekend and they didn’t have to twist my arm to make it into today’s recipe. I instantly knew that the homemade strawberry filling combined with the sweet dough would be a winner. I mean, how could one go wrong with that combo?
As soon as these came out of the oven, Adam volunteered to “assist” while I took these pictures. I was under some serious pressure to take these shots as quickly as humanly possible. We had some devouring to do!
So please pull up a chair and join us. People who virtually brunch together, stay together. And we’d love for you to stick around awhile! Continue reading →

Breakfasts are the one thing that I’ve really started to cherish and enjoy ever since starting this blog. It’s funny how something that I could have cared less about just a little over a year ago, has now become one of the things I’m most passionate about. Breakfast for dinner has definitely contributed, but the fact that you, my readers, are encouraging me and have shown some serious love for my breakfast recipes, is probably the biggest reason.
