These brownies have it all. Prepare to have all your senses tickled when biting into your delicious brownie square!
Happy, happy Friday! How was your week? Our home was struck by sickness this week. Ugh! Adam was down for most of the week with a stomach bug and I have been spared so far. I think I should be in the clear and am ready to enjoy a healthy and fun weekend with my man. If Fridays and getting better aren’t a great reason to celebrate, then I don’t know what is. And the best way to do so is with a big old pan of brownies. I am sure you agree.
I basically made my childhood dreams come true when I concocted the brownies you see here. Loaded with chocolate covered caramels, mini marshmallows and caramel popcorn. Oh, and there’s chocolate. Lots and lots of chocolate.
Get ready to be wowed by Garlic Parmesan Dinner Knots. So easy and ready in 30 minutes or less. You will make them over and over again.
Meet my new favorite guest at our dinner table. He smells amazing, is lovely to look at and never, ever disappoints. He’s best enjoyed when brushed with garlic butter and sprinkled with freshly grated Parmesan cheese. The perfect compliment to no matter what you’re serving. Dinner Knots aka Twisty Buns are always welcome.
This recipe is one to save and keep on hand for sure. It will be one of your new go-to’s, especially on busy weeknights when it’s all about simple, fast, and great family suppers.
If these showed up every night, I know we wouldn’t have a problem with it. After making them multiple times (you don’t want to know the actual number – trust me) over the last couple of weeks, I can confidently tell you that you’ll never grow tired of having them around.
Especially when they’re freshly baked and still slightly warm. Simply the best! Continue reading →
Soft, buttery and flaky Scones with a finger-lickin’ Maple Glaze and topped with chopped Pecans. The best scones you’ll ever make at home!
Welcome to another Monday! I’ve come to love talking to you on Mondays. Not that I don’t like chatting with you on any other day, but when I get to relive our Saturday morning breakfasts here on da blog, I am especially happy. It’s a way to lengthen the weekend and think about the wonderful and most importantly delicious days that now lay sadly behind us. So let’s keep holding on to the weekend bliss just a tad bit longer.
These scones were hands down the best thing we’ve eaten all weekend long. Maybe even longer than that. I never know what we’re going to be hungry for once the weekend comes around, and making scones was totally unplanned. But when the mood strikes, I am more than willing to get to work.
I was not prepared for how much I would like them. I eventually had to hide them to keep us from eating just another one. They are THAT good. Continue reading →
Hungry for a Cronut? Make your own in 10 minutes or less. Yes, it can be done and couldn’t be easier.
Hey Everyone! Did this week fly by or is it just me? Friday kind of snuck up on me and I can hardly believe the weekend is already here. Not that I’m complaining or anything.
Since time has elapsed quicker for me this week, I actually found myself struggling to get things done. I always try to squeeze as many things into my days as I possibly can. Somehow there just weren’t enough hours in the day. It got to the point where I even found it hard to make time for food. Which, um, never ever happens.
I don’t care what’s going on, I don’t forget to eat or find a couple of minutes to throw something delicious together. I have never been able to relate to those that don’t remember to eat for hours on end. But this week was different.
Which definitely got me thinking and eventually led me to share these ridiculously simple cronuts with you. Because no matter what’s going on in your life, you should always find a way to make time for something special! Continue reading →
This Homemade Granola has it all. Whether you love granola or are new to the whole idea, you won’t be able to stop eating bowl after bowl.
Let’s jump right in, shall we? I have caught the granola-making bug. If you’d asked me a couple of weeks ago, I wouldn’t have considered myself a huge granola fan. I never quite understood the hype and wasn’t even remotely interested. I think the fact that breakfasts used to be more of an afterthought (if even that) to me, might the biggest reason why I just didn’t get granola.
But in my attempts to give the most important meal of the day more attention, I decided to jazz up my Greek yogurt breakfasts with some delicious whole grains. So off I went and purchased a bag of honey almond granola. It didn’t take me very long to consume every last crumb…
And refusing to purchase yet another bag, I decided to make my own. You know, being a food blogger and all. Plus, wanting to be in control of my ingredients and creating granola just the way I like it, gave me more than enough motivation.
