Good Monday Morning, friends! Are you ready for another installment of what we ate for breakfast over the weekend? I was seriously contemplating delaying this post, but after much consideration and taste-testing, I knew I couldn’t be so cruel. I HAVE to share. So here we have our average Saturday morning waffles. Ha! Just kidding – there’s really nothing average about these. Which is 100% the reason why I’m so in love. Well, the addition of chocolate and peanut butter doesn’t hurt either. And, um, doughnuts. Enough said.
Here’s your sneak peak of the amazing Peanut Butter & Maple Syrup concoction I made to really set the waffles over the top. It’s almost like pouring caramel sauce that tastes like peanut butter and maple all over your fabulous breakfast. Do you remember my maple nut scones from last week? I apparently have developed an interesting relationship with maple syrup and am not at all sorry about it… so, making my own (trashed-up) syrup was inevitable.
