Ever since making my Unbelievably Healthy Chocolate Chip Cookies a couple months back, I knew that I wanted to try my hand at a better-for-you Double Chocolate Cookie recipe.
I do not have favorites when it comes to cookies. Yes, I am not a big fan of dry or even crispy cookies, but generally speaking, I could never choose. There are just too many great cookie recipes in my life. Not that I’m complaining or anything.
But I was lacking a chocolaty cookie recipe in my collection that left such a big hole, it was basically begging to be filled. And I happily got to work.
Since our cookie consumption can be quite high (just take a peak at my recipe page and have a look through all the cookies I’ve shared over the years), healthy cookies have become a must in our cookie jar.
