Easter is finally on my mind. Realizing that Palm Sunday is this weekend and our first family gathering in celebration of Easter is happening in just a few days, caused me to figure out what my contributions should be. Just in case you’re finding yourself needing to feed a rather large family, I decided to whip up a festive and springy sheet cake that pretty much everyone will love.

Making peaches the center of attention was the best decision. I don’t know why but I’ve always loved peaches more than any other fruit in my desserts. And given the fact that a lot of you have been loving this Peach Cobbler Snack Cake, I thought I’d step it up and make a version that easily feeds a good amount of your loved ones.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bagel Bites

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bagels Bites filled with Cream Cheese. The easiest, most delicious and fastest way to enjoy a bagel!

Happy Monday Morning! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Besides the fact that the Packers lost their game last night (sniff), we had a wonderful time. The weather has been absolutely beautiful and even somewhat warm the last couple of days. Mid 30’s, lots of sunshine and blue skies seem to bring out lots of smiles. We take anything we can get this time of year and soak up as much of the “warm” breeze as possible, ha.

But I still managed to make some time in the kitchen. For an idea I’ve had swirling around my head for what seems like forever now.

As if bagel bites stuffed with cream cheese weren’t enough, I decided to add Cinnamon Toast Crunch (aka my favorite childhood cereal) to the mix. Literally. Cereal makes up part of the bagel dough, which you can taste with every bite. If that’s not a dream come true, then I don’t know what is.

Unbelievably Healthy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Who says you can’t keep your new year’s resolution and still have cookies? I’m about to show you how you can do both!

Happy New Year, Everyone! I hope every single one of you had a wonderful holiday season and made it safely into 2015. With the beginning of a new year come all sorts of new goals and resolutions. To be quite honest, I didn’t make a single resolution this year. I am always thinking about how to move forward and things I hope to accomplish in the future. That being said, it’s been a couple of months since I started planning some new and exciting things for Deliciously Yum and I can’t wait to see how all of them unfold. So stay tuned.

As for these cookies, I couldn’t wait to give them a go. And what better time to try out new recipes and something completely different than right now.

Hot Cocoa Donut Muffins

Happy Friday, friends! Now that we’ve reached double digits in the month of December, I am feeling the Christmas shopping pressure. The hubby and I have yet to purchase a few gifts together and yes, I still have to make up my mind what to get him as well. I have a few ideas, but life holds some sweet distractions for me. Who wants to step outside and join the hustle and bustle when one could curl up inside with tea and a Hot Cocoa Donut Muffin in hand while watching Elf?! That’s the constant dilemma I find myself in.

It’s a tough job being a food blogger, but someone’s got to do it. Also, someone has got to eat them… so I am blaming my Christmas shopping procrastination on these Donut Muffins. I think they can take it. Nothing could possibly take away from their amazingness.

Thick and Chewy Sugar Cookies

Get ready to enjoy this Christmas Classic. These Sugar Cookies are thick, chewy, and a definite must-make this Holiday Season.

Finally. A Christmas cookie. The ONE cookie everyone would notice missing if it didn’t make an appearance on our cookie tray. It’s that well-loved and embodies Christmas for us.

It’s pretty to look at, has plenty of sprinkles, and satisfies young and old alike. Last year I made another version of sugar cookies right before the Christmas season hit. It was one of those times where we just couldn’t wait any longer to enjoy a scrumptious cookie and a birthday celebration seemed like the perfect excuse.

So when I realized that we were in the midst of cookie swap and cookie eating season, I didn’t need to think twice as to which cookie to make. This recipe is as classic as it’s going to get. For all of the cookie purists and sugar cookie lovers out there, you will really enjoy the taste and texture of these.
