Oreo Donuts

These are the ULTIMATE Oreo Donuts. Studded with the actual cookies, dipped in a white chocolate glaze and just as delicious as their crunchy counterpart. But be careful, you won’t be able to stop at just one.

Oreo Donuts

Oreos have been having a real moment in our house. Ever since buying a package of the new thin oreos in New York last week, we cannot stop eating them. It used to be that Peanut Butter Oreos were my absolute favorite. Nobody else ever seemed to care for them, which I was more than happy about. I then fell head over heels for golden oreos and certainly couldn’t get enough of the peanut butter cup ones either. But the current obsession is all about the original kind. And they’re taking over the best thing in the entire world today – DONUTS. Yes, caps are required.

Oreo Donuts

Get ready for incredibly chocolaty and moist donuts with an insane white chocolate frosting. Not only are the iconic cookies crushed and sprinkled on top of the donuts, but the donuts themselves hold pieces of cookies as well. So when I say Oreo Donuts I am not joking. These are the real deal. Continue reading

Glazed Lemon Pudding Cake

Lemon Pudding Cake with a yummy Glaze. If you love moist cakes, this one’s definitely for you!

Glazed Lemon Pudding Cake

Lemons have stolen my heart and I don’t care who knows it. I always have an abundance of lemons in my kitchen. I regularly drink a glass of water with half of a freshly squeezed lemon first thing in the morning. So I constantly stock up on lemons and sometimes happen to buy just a couple too many. Which I don’t mind at all ;). Because it results in delicious cakes like the one you see here.

Glazed Lemon Pudding Cake

I actually spotted the recipe for this cake a little while ago and have been waiting for just the right moment to whip it up. When the lemons started to accumulate, I took it as a sign and finally gave it a go.

You might know by now that I’m all about moist cakes. I can’t stand dry and flavorless cakes, which are two things this one does not have. The addition of pudding is basically the best thing ever. Every time I sneak another slice, I am dying just a little bit inside. I almost can’t handle the goodness. Continue reading

It’s Friday, Friday. Hi Everyone! I have breakfast, lunch and dinner covered for you. Once you experience this cake you will want to eat it all day every day. Isn’t that what weekends are for? Letting go, relax and eat whatever your heart pleases? While I do like to consume everything in moderation, every once in a while (okay more often than not) I can’t help but eat myself silly. Which is the story of this cake. It’s everything I could possibly want in cake form.

And let me just tell you, you will most definitely feel the same way about your utterly delicious slice(s) of yumminess.

Extreme Crumb Cinnamon Roll Coffee Cake

So yeah, I went all out when dreaming up this cake. I didn’t skimp on the best part, the crumb topping/filling we can never seem to get enough of. I wanted this to be crumbly and sky high all the way. Making sure you’ve got something to sink your fork into and have enough of the addicting stuff as possible.

Mission accomplished! Continue reading

Happy Friday! So I guess today’s post should be entitled can’t stop won’t stop. Because my breakfast obsession is still going strong and so is my love for blueberries. You probably guessed by now that blueberries are my fruit of choice when it comes to the early hours of the day. Whether in yogurt, stirred into overnight oatmeal, or completely on their own, I could snack on them all day every day.

But the best way to enjoy those juicy & sweet little things is in the form of muffins, if ask me. Hands down.

This recipe was totally unplanned for me. I set out to make a batch just for the two of us when I realized that my go-to Blueberry Muffins have yet to be shared on da blog. Once I got over the shock, I grabbed my camera and captured what I call morning bliss. Continue reading

The month of December is all about savoring for me. Really enjoying every minute of every day leading up to Christmas and ultimately welcoming a new year. I like to slow down, reflect, dream, and simply enjoy the moment I find myself in. Instead of cramming in as many things as possible into my day, I’ve been concentrating on doing more things that I love and make me happy and doing them well, instead of running around like crazy and checking things off my to do list.

Peace and Simplicity – I adore you.

I have been trying to take a break in the middle of each day, enjoying a hot cup of tea and sometimes munching on a little treat. Most recently I’ve been loving these muffins. With their coffee cake like texture and gingerbread flavor, I don’t even have to think twice about slowing down for 15 minutes.

These muffins are calling my name and there’s nothing I can do but dive right in. Continue reading
