Carrot Cake, Cream Cheese and White Chocolate create a delicious bite that you won’t be able to stop popping into your mouth!
Here’s something I never thought I’d say. I am craving fall flavors while still trying to soak in every last day we have left of summer. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t actually want fall to arrive just yet. The change in temperature, shorter days, and all that jazz can stay away forever (as far as I’m concerned).
I just want to have permission to break out the pumpkin, warm spices and drink mulled apple cider. But I am trying to hold off. I’m sure I’ll be changing my tune next week though. When all I want to do is to hold on to summer’s goodness and abundance with both of my hands. For as long as I possibly can.
Still wanted to break out the cinnamon and a couple of other spices. Which is where carrot cake comes into play. I don’t think there’s a rule as to when one can whip up a wonderful carrot cake. It’s a cake I am happy to enjoy all year around and it is my way of getting some of those fall cravings taken care of.
Carrot cake aroma must be one of the most warming, welcoming, and heartwarming smells around. And it only gets better once formed into tiny bites. YUM! Continue reading →
Chubby Hubby Truffles feature Creamy Peanut Butter, Pretzels, and are dipped in Chocolate. Psst – they’re not just for husbands!
Can somebody tell me why in the world I’ve never heard of Chubby Hubby Truffles before? I hope I’m not the only one who had no clue what chubby hubby referred to. I was definitely intrigued and instantly knew that I would most likely be in for one scrumptious little bite. My suspicion was confirmed once I did more research.
In case you have no idea either, here are 3 words that sum up the deliciousness that are chubby hubby truffles – peanut butter, pretzels, and chocolate.
3 magic ingredients that basically guarantee a successful sweet treat. The moment I found out about them, I immediately went into my kitchen, whipped out everything I needed, and planned to surprise Adam. He was working hard on a landscaping project outside and most definitely deserved something special. Plus, I knew that he’s always willing to share, which may have given me extra encouragement to make them right then and there. Continue reading →
Brownie Truffles that hold a sweet surprise inside. Such a fun, easy and ultra delicious way to say “I love you”!
Happy almost weekend, everyone! As promised, I have a colorful and sprinkle-loving treat for you today. Which happens to be a no-bake recipe as well…. sort of. At the beginning of the week, I told you that a no-bake surprise was heading your way and I actually didn’t take into consideration that in order to make these truffles, you have to bake brownies first. Or buy a pan of brownies, or use leftovers – is there even such a thing as leftover brownies??
Not in my world.
So yeah. I definitely failed to think things through, but hopefully I can make it up to you with these adorable little bites nonetheless. Would it help if I told you that they are stuffed with more chocolate?
Yep, I did. My crazy valentine-loving mind wanted brownies, sprinkles, chocolate covered, and candy yumminess all in one. And I totally made it happen. Let me tell you more whilst floating on cloud 9. Continue reading →
Peppermint Patties are turned into Irresistible Truffles, which are filled and sprinkled with Peppermint Crunch Thin Chocolates. It’s the Christmas Season!
Welcome back to the first week of December. Eeek!
The most wonderful time of year has finally arrived. And no words could truly describe how thrilled I am. We had a great Thanksgiving enjoying family, taking some time off, and just hanging out. I am ready to take this season by its jingle bells, ha!
The Deliciously Yum halls are fully decked, my Christmas baking list is already getting longer, and Christmas music has officially taken over my life. As have Christmas movies and all things peppermint.
It’s by far the most iconic and well loved Christmas flavor if you ask me.
Since peppermint patties are the things I can’t get enough of right now, I got the idea for these truffles while unwrapping yet another patty and wishing that peppermint chocolates perhaps with a little bit of a crunch could be part of my already wonderful peppermint patty experience.
These truffles hit the nail on the head. So good you most definitely need to try them for yourself! Continue reading →
Mondays call for chocolate and what better way than in the form of truffles?! These are not your average truffles though, they’re made with Nutella!
Happy Monday morning to you! This weekend seemed to have passed in lightning speed, which I’d foreseen. Time always flies fast when you’re having fun. And the last couple of days were packed with more than enough.
I’ll have some pictures to share with you later this week, but I first need to sort through image after image of mouthwatering food. Meanwhile, why don’t we concentrate on something else that’s also more than drool-inducing: Nutella Truffles.
Since chocolate basically runs through my veins, there is no escaping Nutella. Whoever invented that luscious chocolate spread and basically made it perfectly acceptable to enjoy chocolate first thing in the morning, was a pure genius.
But it certainly doesn’t have to stop there. There are so many different ways to enjoy it throughout the day and right now, incorporating it into truffles, is my favorite by far. Continue reading →
